Storm Damage – Carson City Roof Damaged

Storm damage at this Carson City home soaked the attic and subsequently the entire ceiling when rain accompanied by high winds tore through a section of the roof and pooled on top of the affected ceiling shown above. SERVPRO was summoned during the storm to provide emergency tarps to stem the flow of water into the dwelling. We were also contracted to mitigate the water damage and replace the damaged ceiling and structural elements of the attic. We needed to tear out a large section of the ceiling so we could dry the structural elements above the ceiling. The roof, which was the source of the water was being repaired at the same time.
